It’s funny, when Misha, our wedding planner for this beautiful weekend, made a mini post with some photos from Pearl and Kevin’s wedding, she used the word “Magic” .
As I had been working on this post, and Magic was the word that kept running through MY head! Not specifically as a word, but in song…that one by The Lovin Spoonful …

If prayer is magic, Robin (Pearl or as Robin calls her PEARLIE’s mom) had been praying for sunshine for months. Pearl is a nature girlie and nature was the backdrop for her weekend! As May 9th rolled around, there was not a cloud in the sky. A BLESSING!
The sun peeked through P’s eyelet skirt making patterns on the ground, shined through the barn doors during dinner at Elawa Farm and gracefully set- only to shine again on their wedding day. More on that tomorrow!
As the family recited the HaMotzi prayer, a hush fell over the room. We could all feel how blessed this couple is.
